Toilet Seat
Another hot topic of dispute between males and females is the out-of-use position of the toilet seat. Women seem to think that the toilet seat should permanently be down but why? Men then have to bend down, pull the seat up and when they've finished, they have to put it down again. Why should men have to do this? If women want to have the toilet seat down, then men would argue that surely women should have to bend down, they are, after all, going to squat anyway.
Many an argument or schneid comment has been made about this, and I feel I should bring to the world the answer, which is pretty simple really.
It's all about majorities.
If you are at a party and there are more men than women there, then leave the toilet seat up for goodness sake - if you put it down then the men will think that you are petty and then there's always the issue of poor aim for those that are lazy or too drunk. If there are more women than men in the house, then leave the toilet seat down.
However, if you cannot decide or it still becomes an issue, then here is the ultimate solution - make sure that both the toilet seat and the toilet seat lid are put down after use, this guarantees that the user has to bend down whatever the gender.
So for goodness sake, if the position of the toilet seat is a major issue in your house, just remember this article and stop bloody arguing about it.
Let's make the world a more peaceful place - sort out your toilet seat positions.
