LIDL DID I KNOW
It's been a while since Mark and I caught up, with the exception of our drunken antics from the other week. It seems that there is a surplus (*amendment - thanks Shunta*) of pilots at the moment, so he won't be jumping in the cockpit of your local low-cost airline just yet. Instead, he has managed to secure a job as acquisitions manager for low-cost supermarket Lidl.
Lidl, famous for selling you flights as you shop for your groceries, is causing quite a stir in the midlands at the moment and the local papers are keeping on top of the stories. Wanting to establish more of a presence in the area, Lidl is looking to develop more sites and need to convince the locals that Lidl will be good for the area. Needless to say, as acquisitions manager, Mark features heavily in the press but there does not seem to be any mention of the fruit that was thrown in his direction by the angry residents of Finchfield.

Surely if there was a lack of pilots his services would be required? A surplus of pilots would cause poor Mark to take a job as a target for vegetable wielding pensioners.

Tremendous! I can just imagine Mark fending off angry residents.
