The topic of English people having French lessons cropped up at work yesterday after a senior manager suddenly had loads of French lessons and then announced he was moving to work there.

"Yez, but zere are two french teacheres ere, one man an' one woman"
"Yes, but he only ever had lessons with Peter, we never saw the other one."
"Yez, but I know er, her name is Bob"

Hysterics as far as the eye could see.
