CAR BOOT SALE
And so the time had come for me to get rid of some of my old junk at a car boot sale this morning. Having never been a seller at a car boot sale, this was to be a brand new experience for me and one that would hopefully bring in a few quid.
Highlights:
- Telling a 10 year old pikey kid that the 'trilogy' part of the Die Hard Trilogy Playstation game he had picked up meant that there were three games. "Trilogy means three" I said, to a blank response. "TH REE..." (add finger movements)
- Arguing with a Japanese guy over the price of my Playstation console every time he walked by, before finally agreeing a price on the sixth attempt.
- A young girl picked up my Monopoly PC game and told her daddy she wanted it. "No, it's not educational" he said, so I piped up with "ah, but it's entrepreneurial". *Blank look*. "It's ENTREPRENEURIAL..." I repeated. *Blank look*, followed by "It's what?". "Entrepreneurial". "WHAT?". "It teaches you how to do business".
- Pressing the ear of my Humphrey the Humping Dog so that passers by, and indeed several fellow sellers, were subjected to the passionate whinings of a sex-crazed cuddly toy.
- Holding Debs down so her bum faced the buyers as she was leaning through the car window from outside to get her bottle of water, and announcing "roll up, roll up, slaps only a pound, come on everyone, slap it and watch it ripple".

ummm... I'm sure you persuaded me to buy it actually - even though I never played it. Call it a half-pint.
