BROWN NOSE

A friend who is black was telling a group of us how he had arrived very late for work due to bad time management and had spent the majority of the day sucking up to his boss - buying him coffees, doing his photocopying, producing his work on time etc.

Colleague: "you are such a suck-up, why don't you just kiss his butt?"

*Friend smiles and nods in acknowledgement*

Jonola: "yeah, you're such a brown nose".

-silence-

Jonola: "in the non-racist sense"

-silence-

Jonola: "I like your tie".
