HALKIDIKI BECKONS

It has just dawned on me that in precisely four weeks time, I will be lying beside a glistening, rippling swimming pool, the sun beating down from the cloudless azure blue sky with the magnificent view of the beautiful bay visible from where I lay. Palm trees quietly shaking as the gentle breeze caresses their green leaves and the soothing summer heat warming my relaxed body, as the tropical pool bar beckoneth once more.

Two weeks in the luxury of hot, calming, cultural Halkidiki awaits me and that, as they say, is utterly splendid.
