TORNADO CHASING
For years now, I have dreamed of heading off to the US mid west states, climbing into a van with a load of computer equipment and cameras, and spending a couple of weeks charging around the area chasing tornados.
I have just watched a programme on the National Geographic channel about a family who did just that, which cemented my desire to get over there and concreted my fascination. I cannot begin to imagine the emotions you must go through when faced with an enormous mass of high-speed wind swirling viciously right in front of you (Simon H's post-kebab flatulence excepted). But this programme has fuelled my intent to organize such a trip and to hunt down one of the most powerful natural phenomena in existence.
Would anyone care to join me?

absolutely, just fuelled my intent to chase tornados even more. And they are tornados, not twisters for all you Americans out there.
