SCAVENGER HUNT
All I wanted to do last night was have a couple of beers and a game of darts, but I foolishly let the riff-raff persuade me to take part in their scavenger hunt. This involved a trip round Cranleigh collecting as many stupid items as possible from the list. After another visit to the fish and chip shop for a potato and a hat, the theft of a hanging basket from an estate agents and the pilfering of a freezer from outside somebody's house, we made our way back to the pub for a clear victory.
Now, however, we have to put the damned things back.
Quote of the Day
Situation: Courier walks into office, deposits parcel, gets signature.
Jonola: "There you go then, thanks a lot"
Courier: "Thanks, have a nice meal...!"
