NEWS UPDATE
Every year, my stepfather goes up to Scotland with the school golf team to man the scoreboard on the 18th green for the Open Championship. Yesterday, during a brief pause in action, the BBC decided to do a mini feature on the scoreboard and its operators. The camera cut to the reporter who said a few sentences about Cranleigh School and the importance of the scoreboard. The camera panned round and then right there, standing shoulder to shoulder with the reporter, was my stepfather. He was then briefly interviewed about his role. The fact that he was randomly interviewed on live television didn't really shock me, it was more the fact that he looked like he was about to ski the downhill slalom. Red anorak, white cap, large, thick glasses and holding a pole of some sort, he would have looked more at home on Ski Sunday.
In other news, when I got home this morning I walked in the back door to find my sister ironing in nothing but her underwear and my mother claiming that sucking ice cubes was the best cure for food poisoning. I think it's best I move out.
AND, more amusingly than anything else EVER, Simon H has broken a knuckle punching a wooden sign. Half his arm is now in a cast and he can't write, play Playstation, throw darts, use a mouse, pleasure himself or drink alcohol. YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE LAUGHED AT ME WHEN I BROKE MY NOSE, SIMON, I SAID I WOULD HAVE MY REVENGE.....!
