MEL'S PARTY

Saturday night produced so many laughs it would take me a whole evening to write them down, so here is a selection of the best.....

Situation: Simon S in Sainsbury's
Simon S: "Excuse me, do you have any marshmallows?"
Stranger: "ummm, I don't work here..."

Situation: sat by an open window
Simon S: "oooh, I can smell Indian, is there one around here?"
Mel N: "yes, there's one just around the corner"
Jonola (leans out window): "GO AND HAVE A SHOWER...!"

Ellie W-P: "I've been studying in Belgium for a year"
Jonola: "oh really? Where was that then? Amsterdam?"

Simon S: "Prince William kissed Claudia Schiffer then"
Jonola: "who?"
Simon S: "Claudia Schiffer"
Jonola: "oh, I thought you said Corduroy Shifter - that famous trouser salesman...!"

Situation: sat in roof-top garden/balcony, awkward silence in conversation
Jonola: "what a lovely bracket..."

Situation: Simon S and Ellie W-P in deep conversation
Simon S: "how ARE you, MEL?"
