KATIE CHALLENGE

Upon arrival at the pub last night, I was presented with a disposable camera, a sheet of tasks and an eager set of team-mates. The idea of the exercise was to have the team photographed with the following: a blonde, a brunette, a ginger, a fat biffa, a Jade look-a-like, a bearded lady, a sexy mum, a granny, a woman in a hat and a teenage dirtbag. Bonus points were also available for photographs of the above taken in bed. It sounds easy, but at 9pm on a Thursday night, in the middle of Cranleigh, actually finding ANYBODY is a mini-miracle.

Anyway, we hunted and we searched and we managed the easy ones. We persuaded the lady in the fish and chip shop to pose with us, and to give us all hats. The fat biffa and the bearded lady took some persuading, but we succeeded and ENORMOUS FUN was had by all.

The photos will be developed today and the best ones will be rewarded with alcohol.

I just can't wait to see the look on opposing team captain Simon H's face when he sees our photo of his nan in bed, with my team surrounding her. Corking.
