Simon H had his first night behind the bar, and was subjected to endless abuse from myself and Simon S, involving requests including diluted water. Now, being Christmas time and the season to be jolly, there are always lots of people out in the pubs drinking. Therefore, local taxi companies are, theoretically, snowed under with work. It was a tad unexpected, consequently, for us to hail a shiny new Black Cab, never before seen in Cranleigh, directly outside the pub, saving us from a 25 minute walk in -20 degrees and an unwelcome detour to the kebab van. Staggered into Cinders on friday and nearly pulled a girl with glasses about 4 inches thick (thanks Raj for escorting me away) and then ended up in Powerhouse on saturday.
