CHURCH GONE MAD
March 23rd, 2007 Posted in LinksChurches charge mobile phone companies thousands of pounds a year in return for mobile phone masts being erected on church steeples. Now, according to the Telegraph, a judge has ruled that because mobile phones can relay porn, the masts should be taken down from all the churches because the church should have nothing to do with porn, nor the technology that can transmit it.
This is ridiculous. What about the people that take part in porn, or those that like to video themselves and watch it back later? I bet some of them go to church but you don’t hear the church banning people from the congregation because they might have been involved in porn, no. Quite the opposite in fact, churches are crying out for higher attendances.
