CH-CH-CH-CHANGES
January 23rd, 2007 Posted in Personal EventsA lot can happen in a few months. Indeed, since I last posted on this ‘ere blog, I have changed job, moved house, become single, started college, been a best man, met Simon Cowell and become an uncle. Almost in that order too.
Renault wasn’t a company I wanted to work for anymore, nor was the motor industry a profession I wished to build a career in, so I offered myself as a work experience person to Columbia Records and when they said I could spend a few weeks with them, I resigned from Renault and haven’t looked back.
Having friends and family in South London and easy connections to the A3 were the main reasons for moving to Putney, but a further bonus was that my work experience was within walking distance of my new home with Mark, a friend of my brother’s. I finally moved out of the North London area, and not a minute too soon. I won’t move back.
Debs and I split up - it just wasn’t working anymore and we decided it was best to go our separate ways. I am therefore back on the shelf and fighting off the women.
Shunta got married, for which Shaun, Wibbler and I were all best men. A hugely enjoyable event and a tad debauched. Surprisingly.
I am now studying for the Chartered Institute of Marketing Professional Diploma in Marketing at Richmond-upon-Thames college near Twickenham. Two exams have been done already, results at the end of Feb. Fingers crossed.
The rest of my news warrant individual posts, but check back for more updates. One of my new year resolutions is to update this more than I did last year.
So anyway, 2006 was a bit of a shit year. I spent a week in hospital, lost a family member, got dumped and lost my income, even if that was voluntarily. 2007 is going to be a good year.

heya Jac !!
What a long mute thingy we had without any news !
I am pleased to read again your blog.
So many things have happened since august 2006 , apparently …
I must admit that the end of 2006 end the beginning of 2007 were not really good moments also for me as i’ve lost one brother and i can’t stop thinking that i won’t see him anymore.
I do hope things and thoughts will be different during this year.
Glad to know that you’ve got quite challenging things to do in 2007 , and i am quite sure you ‘ll succeed with all your endeavours!
Take care
