February 27th, 2005 Posted in UncategorizedHeinz have just released a new shape bottle for their Ketchup product - advertised as a ’stay-clean cap’, the bottle has the cap on the bottom, so that all the ketchup flows downwards into it, in contrast to the upwards-facing standard squeezy bottle that most other products use, including Heinz Ketchup, previously.
So I bought a bottle in this new fandangled shape and what better opportunity to test out the new product than on last night’s dinner, sat down in front of Millionaire. I grabbed the bottle, removed the air-lock tab underneath the cap and went to squirt some ketchup onto my plate.
Only I missed the plate. In fact I missed the table too. What I did hit was the bottom of my trouserleg and the top of my sock. Beware of funny angles of squirt on these things.
