From the sublime to the ridiculous

On the eve of Nick M picking up his new Mazda MX5, I have just watched the best of Top Gear and heard Anne Robinson describe the aforementioned Roadster as:

“not even a hairdresser’s car, it’s the receptionist at the hairdresser’s car”.

    As am MX5 owner I really wouldn’t be concerned by the ill-informed car reviewing of anne robinson!! I’ve met her quite a few times and she is remarkably badly informed on most things, just about able to reiterate something she has been told to say - but more concerned with talking about herself. She was obviously off to the hairdressers on the day she gave the comment! Go MX5-ers.

    I rather like the MX5 myself, although I think it is a bit dated now. I enjoy winding Nick up a hell of a lot more though.
