December 18th, 2002 Posted in UncategorizedArnaud tipped the remnants of his coffee in the bin, threw in the plastic cup directly afterwards and made his way out of Andy’s office. I was sat opposite Andy at the desk and we were discussing promotion of something or other. As Arnaud left the room, in mid sentence, Andy grabbed some coffee soaked sheets of A4 paper from his bin, licked them, and placed them on the side of his desk for later.
A few hours later, he walked past one of the desks in the open plan office. “You can’t throw that away” he said, proceeded to retrieve a plastic container holding the remainder of a fruit salad from the bin, and ate all that was left.
