STENNETTS LAST DAY
August 16th, 2002 Posted in UncategorizedToday was my last day at my current job and when I wandered through the office door, nursing a mild hangover and not really keen on spending eight hours sat in front of a computer whilst the blistering heat baked the world outside, I was both surprised and touched when I saw a pile of leaving presents on my desk.
Five minutes later, though, I was tottering around the office with a good luck balloon tied to my finger, wearing an apron with inflatable breasts, a ‘thirst aid’ drinker’s hat, a pair of ultra thick joke glasses, and clutching a plastic oscar.
I think they know me too well.
