From the sublime to the ridiculous

KINGSTON

March 10th, 2002 Posted in Uncategorized

Friday night: Karaoke at the Cranley Hotel with Simon S, Simon H and Michelle. We sang all 9 minutes of American Pie (again!), drank tequila - including salt straight from the salt sellar, stole an abandoned bed-head from outside a local shop and stood around outside the kebab van for twenty minutes before realising that nobody wanted anything. And just before that, Simon H volleyed a Smirnoff Ice bottle directly into a lamp-post, shattering it into 1387 pieces (approximately).

Saturday night: trip to Kingston with Simon S, Michelle and Becki to celebrate Alex MacH’s birthday. Taking the advice of a well-placed sign that read “WARNING: Fun”, we spent the majority of the evening performing unique dances such as the lawnmower, shopping trolley, basketball, spinning the pizza and serving the tennis ball.

I certainly enjoyed it. Spose that was the idea. Dont forget to watch out for Rajs mate on Blind Date next week. Or the week after. Or the week after that!
