From the sublime to the ridiculous

Last night I took a jolly trip to Weybridge to see Alex MacH. We had a few beers and played some pool. After arguing with some blokes about whose money it was on the edge of the pool table, we jumped in the back of their Ford Escort van along with six other people and danced the night away in a Hampton Court nightclub. Splendid.

And then I woke up this morning with one of the inexplicable beer injuries that happen during the course of a night out. This particular one involves a chunk of skin missing from my thumb.

    ummm, is that really you Mr van driver? I really don’t remember giving you my email address. Or stealing your nail, come to think of it. It would explain my drinking injury though.
